With a little bit of Modge Podge, an empty formula can and some scrap pieces of paper I made Logan a new animal bank. I didn't have any pigs so I decided to use all different kinds of animals! His old piggy bank is broken so I thought it was time to update!

What I've been up too!

So this is what I have been up too! I have been trying to learn how to sew as well as making watches!! Anyway, I made this batman/superman cape one day for Logan's birthday. I gave it to him early so that he could wear it for Halloween but he LOVED it and it was really easy to make. I didn't have a pattern so I just guessed a little. I think it turned out really well!

The other thing I have been up to is learning how to make these watch bands! I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!! They are sooo dang cute!!

Anyone know how to make Watch bands?

So, I haven't totally forgotten about this blog. With my new baby and finding out my mom has cancer, I have put it on the back burner! I apologize! Anyway, I will be posting new pics of some things I have been working on. I have done a TON of scrapping and have even made a few things. I made me a temple dress, an apron, and a batman/superman cape for Logan! I am trying to get into sewing a little more so I have even made a few burp clothes.

Here is my question.... I want to make watch bands using beads. Does anyone have any instructions on how to do it? If you do, leave me a post!!!!

So, I got a new stamp set from Stampin Up and I love it! I went right to town and started making some recipe cards for people that had been wanting a recipe I make! It was SO much fun! I think these will make super cute gifts along with a little something else! Happy looking!

Oh yeah, if you were wondering, this recipe is FANTASTIC!!!! It came from Doug's Grandma Barnett!! Yum Yum!

Which one do you like better?

My Favorite Recipe Site!

So, I have been cooking like crazy lately and I have been sooooo sick of the same old things that I cook! Well, my sister-in-law told me to look at this website and give it a try. I have tried recipe sites like this before and just think that the food is to weird. I signed up for an account and got right down to business. I love this site cause they have ratings. I typically cook the ones that have the most and the highest ratings. When I get done eating what I cooked I get online and rate it so that other people will be able to look at the ratings. They are the best.

Here is the one that I made last night and thought was amazing!!!

BAKED ZITI

INGREDIENTS
1 pound dry ziti pasta
1 onion, chopped
1 pound lean ground beef
2 (26 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce
6 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
1 1/2 cups sour cream
6 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add ziti pasta, and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes; drain.
In a large skillet, brown onion and ground beef over medium heat. Add spaghetti sauce, and simmer 15 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter a 9x13 inch baking dish. Layer as follows: 1/2 of the ziti, Provolone cheese, sour cream, 1/2 sauce mixture, remaining ziti, mozzarella cheese and remaining sauce mixture. Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until cheeses are melted.
